Getting Started

Build AI agents on your knowledge.

1. Create an agent#

Start by creating a new agent in your dashboard. You can select one of our pre-built templates or build a custom agent from scratch:

  • Customer Support Agent: Best for answering FAQ and helping customers.
  • HR Assistant: Configured for answering questions from internal company policies.
  • Shopify Store Assistant: Connects directly to e-commerce storefronts.

Once selected, customize your agent's name, tone of voice, and guidelines in the dashboard settings panel.

2. Add knowledge#

An agent needs information to be useful. Ground your agent's answers by syncing your company's existing materials. You can connect multiple sources:

  • Upload documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files.
  • Crawl URLs: Paste a link to your public documentation or blog.
  • Sync tools: Connect Notion, Google Drive, or Confluence workspace pages.

The system organizes and indexes your content automatically so the agent can quickly retrieve facts when asked.

3. Test in the playground#

Use the built-in playground to test how your agent responds to queries. In the playground, you can:

  • Simulate customer questions.
  • Verify which sources were retrieved and referenced for the answers.
  • Refine guidelines and instructions based on the responses.

4. Deploy everywhere#

Once you are satisfied with your agent's performance, deploy it to your preferred channels:

  • Web Widget: Embed a chat window directly on your site by copying a single script tag.
  • Slack / Teams: Add the agent directly to your team communication channels to help answer internal questions.
  • WhatsApp / SMS: Enable automated support on messaging channels.
